The MP4, AAC, DivX, Xvid, and Flash Video formats are all supported by the MPC Home Cinema player. This player can play DVDs, decode the popular H.264 format on the latest graphics cards, work well with a second monitor (TV), support multiple types of subtitles, and work with QuickTime RealVideo formats, among other things. The player is simple and intuitive, with no extra interface functionalities translated into 14 languages. With GPU-assisted acceleration and image quality enhancement, Media Player Classic Home Cinema can upgrade, decode, and accelerate a wide range of movie formats such as x.264.

Existing licenses do not require upgrading, and there are no plans. It looks like older versions of Windows Media Player, however unlike the software, it supports practically all media formats.
